Limita con los municipios de Peligros, Pulianas, Granada, Atarfe y Albolote. Otras localidades cercanas son Pulianillas y Monteluz. El municipio maracenero es una de las 34 entidades que componen el \u00c1rea Metropolitana de Granada, y la quinta ciudad m\u00e1s poblada de la provincia (22.306 habitantes), s\u00f3lo precedida por la capital, Motril, Almu\u00f1\u00e9car y Armilla.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las competencias de participaci\u00f3n ciudadana del <\/span><b>Ayuntamiento de Maracena <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">se enmarcan en el <\/span><b>\u00c1rea de Juventud y Participaci\u00f3n Ciudadana<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, y est\u00e1n coordinadas a trav\u00e9s de la <\/span><b>Concejal\u00eda de Juventud y Participaci\u00f3n Ciudadana.&nbsp; <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las principales funciones de la <\/span><b>Concejal\u00eda de Participaci\u00f3n a la Ciudadan\u00eda<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> son:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recepci\u00f3n de todas las peticiones por parte de ciudadan\u00eda.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Colaboraci\u00f3n con las asociaciones de Maracena para atender a sus demandas.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cooperaci\u00f3n con los distintos colectivos sociales de Maracena.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De acuerdo con <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/maracena.es\/tematicas\/juventud\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">la p\u00e1gina web del \u00c1rea<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, la persona responsable es:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Sof\u00eda Bed\u00f3n Garido,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Concejala de juventud y Participaci\u00f3n Ciudadana.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>El ayuntamiento de Maracena en colaboraci\u00f3n con la <strong>Asociaci\u00f3n Juvenil Sierra Nevada y Aventura Joven<\/strong> viene desarrollando un programa educativo cuyo principal objetivo es el desarrollo del tejido social a trav\u00e9s de actividades l\u00fadicas.<\/p>\n<p>Dos proyectos:<\/p>\n<div class=\"lista\">\n<ul>\n<li>Colonias Municipales<\/li>\n<li>Tardes y noches de ocio<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, desde el&nbsp;<b>Espacio Joven<\/b> aseguran un asesoramiento para la constituci\u00f3n, seguimiento y acompa\u00f1amiento de las asociaciones juveniles ya creadas.
